Growth Analyzer Disclaimer & Methodology
Last updated February 2026
We would rather be transparent than impressive. This page explains exactly how the Gravity Growth Analyzer produces your scores, what it verifies, what it takes your word for, and what it cannot tell you.
What the analyzer verifies
When you provide a website address, we request your homepage in real time, exactly as a browser or search engine would, and read signals directly from the HTML we receive.
Those signals include: whether the connection is secure, the HTTP status returned, how quickly the page responded, whether a mobile viewport tag is declared, the presence and length of the page title and meta description, the number of H1 headings, the number of images and how many are missing alt text, whether structured data (schema) is present, whether Open Graph social tags are present, whether canonical and favicon tags exist, and whether clickable phone links, email links, forms, action language, blog links and social links appear on the page.
Every item in your report that came from this scan is labelled 'Verified'.
What is based on your answers
Your Google Business Profile status, review count and rating, posting frequency, social platforms, ad activity, email list, goals, budget, timeline, average customer value and competitors are all taken from the answers you provide.
We do not independently confirm these. Every item in your report sourced this way is labelled 'You told us'. If your answers are inaccurate, your scores will be too.
How scoring works
Each of the five categories is scored from 0 to 100 as the percentage of available points earned across a fixed list of named checks. Your overall score is a weighted average: Website Health 30%, Local Visibility 25%, Conversion Readiness 20%, Competitive Position 15%, Content & Authority 10%.
The scoring rules are fixed and deterministic. The same inputs always produce the same result. Nothing is randomised and no score is generated by AI.
About the revenue estimate
The revenue opportunity figure is a directional planning estimate, not a forecast, projection, promise or guarantee.
It is derived from the average customer value and monthly lead goal you supply, the gap between your overall score and 100, and a conservative assumed close rate of 15%–35%. All of these assumptions are printed in your report.
Actual results depend on your market, pricing, competition, sales process, seasonality, search engine behaviour and many other factors outside the scope of this tool and outside our control.
What the analyzer cannot tell you
It does not crawl your whole site, only your homepage. It does not measure Core Web Vitals in the field, run a full accessibility audit, check your backlink profile, verify your actual Google rankings, inspect your Google Business Profile directly, or analyse your competitors' websites.
It is a fast, honest starting point — not a replacement for a comprehensive professional audit.
Accuracy and limitations
Some websites block automated requests, sit behind a firewall or bot filter, or render their content with JavaScript after the initial page load. In those cases we may not be able to read your page, or we may see less than a visitor would. Where that happens, we say so plainly in your report and fall back to your own answers rather than inventing a result.
Scores can change as your website changes. A report reflects a single moment in time.
